{Life}: I'm loving... my monogram necklace.

I've been lusting after a tortoise shell monogram necklace ever since I saw them on Marley Lily's website a few months ago. So when I found out that this etsy site, VitaBravo, had a buy one get one free of the same monogram special and the necklaces were $29.99 for the two, I just had to buy it.

Now, I was not asked to review this. I just had to spread the word. I am in LOVE with these necklaces. Mind you - they certainly are a bit cheap. I mean, it was $30 for two necklaces. The chain tarnishes on the first wear around the back of the neck. But for a fun statement piece of costume jewelry? So perfect.

The brown tortoise necklace, my original inspiration to purchase.

The black necklace that I got for "free."

So like I said, I had to share the love and tell y'all about this necklace. Check it out: https://www.etsy.com/shop/vitabravo1

Etsy Spotlight: Hoopdaloop

I love etsy. Crafts? Shopping? Cute things? I'm in.

I found this site (which, disclaimer, is one of my friend's etsy sites), and fell in love with everything. Hoop da loop is an etsy shop that sells "whimsical wedding shower and party decorations" but she has so much more too! She's got paper goods, cute embellished bobby pins, and more.

I'm loving everything, but in particular...
Paper Garland

Custom Invitations

Gift Tags
Vintage Bobby Pins

Isn't Allison's shop just the cutest thing ever? And on top of that, she is legit - she makes a lot of sales (I'm not surprised!) and runs a very effective business. She sells party packs with paper garland, cupcake toppers, invitations, and confetti that coordinate - I think that is just super smart.

You should definitely check out hoop da loop!

Sweet Melissa.

My friend Rachel is having a baby, a little girl named Melissa, in June - and so today, we met to get our nails done. She looks fabulous at 9 months pregnant. It was a great girly date (and my nails sure did need it!):

I went with Lincoln Park on my toes (I'm into the dark purple and don't know why - and is it weird to post pictures of your feet on the internet?)

And a sheer shimmery glitter for the nails that I didn't get the name of -
If you peek in the background of that pic, you can see my project for a bridal shower coming up!! I was working on the favors.

Now that Rachel has had her shower, I can also share with you the adorableness I found on etsy for her baby shower present:
I got a baby blanket, bib, and burp cloth set off etsy from this shop, Sew Divine. She hand makes everything and her proceeds go to orphans around the world. She's the mom of one of my favorite bloggers and pretend friend, Katie from Marriage Confessions. The baby set was just too cute to pass up and since little Melissa is going to just be so cute and styling, I had to get it for Rachel's baby shower.

Having no babies of my own, I can't vouch for how practical they are but Katie of Marriage Confessions fame swears up and down by the burp cloths - which is good enough for me.

Gotta love fun afternoons out with girlfriends to reenergize your spirits!

I'm currently craving... on etsy.

I've been thinking about two issues I have currently art wise:
1) I want something portrait-oriented and large to go above the antique sideboard in the kitchen. I had visualized a framed old map of North America...but really something with bright colors that looks vintage would be good.
2)  It bothers me that my fishy seems so alone contrasted to my framed poster on the other side of the shelves in the den and I wanted something that would also be 12X12 to go under it to balance it out.

So of course I searched etsy and fell in love. Today's etsy spotlight is on one seller because their stuff is THAT good. The seller is buckscountyframes. They are all fine art photographs. Here's a few I'm loving:

Etsy love.

I have a soft spot in my heart for etsy. Lord knows I love a good craft and wish I had the time/talent to make some of these things. Often when procrastinating, I find things on etsy that I'm in love with. In the spirit of the Barenaked Ladies,

If I had a million dollars, I'd buy.... on etsy:

- This handpainted frame from a local seller, Round the Bend shop:
- This initial necklace from sejab's etsy store.
- These retro glasses from myretrochristmas:

- I've got a similar color scheme in my den (red/green/blue/yellow/orange) and this would just be super cool to add to the den - Custom Art Painting:

 - This pillow is just simply adorable and I've decided I NEED it:

Also, if you're shopping for a little person, I saw these at our priest's house (we went for the Super Bowl party) in his little person's kitchen play set:
