I've been thinking about lighting. An illuminating topic, you know. I had my heart set on this pendant light for above the sink:
But last night, as I was neurotically browsing the Home Depot website, I found this fun guy for 1/3rd of the price of my drum shade love:
And now, I can't decide. They are both trendy but in different ways... And make different statements. What do you think?

I like the drum shade! I do like the more industrial metal look, but the drum shade is more polished, just like you!
P.S. I know it is more...but make the splurge! Your lighting is like the jewelry of the room.
