{Make this}: Dad's Garlicky Meatballs.

Right before Christmas Jake and I cooked dinner for his family. We wanted to make something hearty, traditional, and comforting. Spaghetti and meatballs sounded just right.

For the spaghetti we used my favorite 3-ingredient method and that left the meatballs. I'd been craving my dad's garlicky meatballs for some time and so I pulled his recipe out to make.

You'll need:
1 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
5 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
5 tablespoons minced parsley
4 tablespoons finely minced garlic
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper
2 eggs
1/4 cup water

You'll do:

1) Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well with hands

2) Take meatball mixture and make small meatballs in your hands (about 1 inch diameter) - put on coated baking sheet

3) Put in the oven at 450 degrees for 20 minutes. While baking meatballs, boil your noodles and make your sauce.

4) Once your meatballs are done, serve sizzling hot - we let people put theirs on their own plates but you could serve straight on top of the noodles and sauce as well.

And there you have it! The recipe is so easy and delicious - I love the meatballs even just by themselves as an appetizer.
