So, I got on Pinterest last Spring and have been scouring through lovely pictures, saving the ones I wanted as "inspiration", ever since. It is a pretty smart concept. A picture serves as a link back to whatever you "pinned." So if you see an awesome home design page that you want to remember and come back to, instead of book-marking it, only to forgot about it and never go back, you "pin" it and the image goes into one of your boards. The boards are themed.
Without an account, you can still look at images, you just can't "pin" your own. An account is free, though, and I'm warning you to only sign up if you're ready to hand over a chunk of your daily internet time.
Here are some things I've been pinning:
From my "I need this" board -
Quilt for the middle bedroom
San Fran poster
From "For the Home" -
Porch inspiration- love those posts and lack of rail
This door is the style I want.
In my "I should make..." (cooking) board, I've got
Mexican Cilantro Lime Chicken Soup
I've pinned plenty more too -lots of craft ideas and home ideas. The great thing about the actual website is that you can link back to the original site to read about it. Even if you don't have pinterest, you can still see my boards and my links: http://pinterest.com/kathryn_jasper/
