Here's the space pre-hutch:
And post- hutch:
The black sideboard is now in its new spot in the dining room, seen here.
So after letting the hutch sit empty for a few weeks, I finally loaded it with my favorite things over the weekend. I put my vintage rubbermaid cannisters (a present last year birthday from my mom - isn't she the best?), my amish butterprint pyrex collection, a watercolor I got at an antique store in Monteagle, two solid colored Pyrex bowls, vintage Italian juice jars (from a sweet friend!), and a little tray on the bottom. I'm thinking I'm going to leave the bottom open so that when I'm serving meals I can use it for food. And I like the open balance it provides.
So another project completed! Birthday hutch is in and displaying my pyrex! So in love.
In collecting and displaying,
