Tile done, range hood in.

I feel as if we haven't done anything revolutionary lately but the little things add up. We're still mulling a paint color (in fact, I'll know better tomorrow because the floors are going in!). In the meantime, our contractor and his sidekick got the grout in the tile and put up the vent hood. They also had to install a floor board thing that goes under the tile, in preparation for tomorrow's floor visit. 

 They had to put down this wooden flooring thing for the tile floor to sit on.

 (don't worry - we'll take off the protective wrap on the top of the vent hood when we're really using the kitchen - it actually is stainless too).
