A trip to the Capitol.

Over the weekend I took a trip to Nashville for work. I got to travel to a conference for students interested in government - this was my fourth time going and it was such a blast. 

We are privileged enough to use the actual state capitol building for our conference - something that is very special and adds to the event quite a bit. 

We have events in the chambers of the House and Senate - the kids get to use the rooms:

To get over to the Capitol building from the Legislative Plaza, you take this long tunnel that looks really cool:

I am always amazed by the beauty and splendor of our capitol - look at the library right off the Senate chambers:

Absolutely gorgeous. 


I enjoyed my time at the State Capitol. The YIG conference is an amazing experience and I was glad to share it with my kids.
