I was reading this morning on CNN.com about the Boston Zoo - it may be forced to close due to budget cuts. The worst part? They might have to euthanize 20% of their animals if they can't find homes for them in other zoos. This makes me really sad... animals don't deserve that. Since it is getting so much publicity, maybe this means they'll reconsider that? I understand it takes a lot of money to maintain a zoo but this is the only zoo in Boston, so you'd think it would be a good attraction.
